Hirohiko Araki Birthday Special: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable, Volumes 17-18 Color Scans

It's totally coincidence, but this project I've been working is ready for release just in time to celebrate Araki Hirohiko's birthday. For those who don't reset your volume counts down to 1 for the beginning of each part, Volume 17 contains chapters from the overall Volume 45, while Volume 18 contains chapters from overall Volume 46 and the first 70 pages of Volume 47.

(Trigger Warning: I cut lots of corners for the redraws because color redraws are a bitch. Sorry, but I'm a translator, not an artist)

6/7/2014, 20:00 PST update:
-Bolded two words I forgot to bold on Volume 17 page 89-90
-Added "heheh..." to Kira's line on page Volume 18 175-176
-Added some mice to the credits page

6/7/2014, 21:40 PST update:
-Re-added page 11-12 in Volume 18, which I accidentally overwrote at some point in time.

6/7/2014, 23:55 PST update:
Changed the following pages in Volume 17:
23-24, 59-60, 127-128: Reports of dogs and cats changed to have come two days ago.
67-68: Apparently you're not supposed to leave commas at the end of parentheticals.
77-78: Changed Kira's line slightly, italicized a word I forgot to italicize.
133-134: Accidentally made the text translucent at one point, so I made it opaque again.
159-160: I thought some of Kira's text was too small, so I made it bigger
179-180:  Filled in two missing bubbles

    1. I accidentally overwrote page 11-12 with a page that came much later. It should be fixed now. If you downloaded volume 18 before, then use one of the new download links in the post to get the fixed version

    1. We'll see. I kind of want to do Part 5, but this shit takes a lot of effort

  3. Would it be alright to ask what kind of fonts you used with this? Because I'm currently trying to do a few chapters of Part 4 and sometimes they shout lines but I feel that it's not loud enough to warrant the use of Obelix, Zoinks or Creative but they are loud enough that using AstroCity or a regular font dialogue would feel wrong.

    1. For the bold text with hard edges, I use obelix, but for Mincho bold (the text that looks kind of like brushstrokes, where lines start thick and taper off at the end of a stroke), I usually use Orange Fizz.
Also, when I have bold text within a line that's otherwise not bold, I use the bold version of the standard font, which is usually Astro City for speech and Jim Lee for thoughts. It feels too awkward to switch fonts in the middle of a bubble.
